  • I think this is a great article. It points out many things that I have been thinking about for a while. Personally, Android has been, is, and (I think) will continue to be my go to choice for my mobile device(s). I like that he points out that Siri was available in the App Store long before becoming a standard feature for the iPhone. I personally have been using apps such as ShoutOut for Android speech-to-text long before they made long-holding the search button on Android devices do the same thing.

It just goes to show that people in general take things for granted. Upon doing even the slightest bit of actual research into new apps (whether free, featured, paid, or otherwise), there are innumerable amounts of them that do amazing things; most of which are NOT standard into any phones as of yet. Why do you think they even become standard(s)? Probably because the developers and marketers do research into what ‘cool new features’ to utilize upon new OS releases! What a surprise!

Great article MidKnightt! Keep them coming please!
